ICARO Birthday party Kössen 2010

A great day! In perfect summer weather many pilots met to the birthday party in Kössen at the "Fliegerbar". By numerous take offs and landings the land Edelweiss was approached app. 200 times from what 18 pilots who have met the point were recompensed with a T-shirt by ICARO paragliders.

A big tombola with cool prices and a big birthday cake completed this comfy day.

The big birtday cake with marzipan Edelweiss was eaten up completely cheers and all raffle tickets were sold. The whole sales proceeds were donated to the mountain rescue Kössen. With the support of a local carpenter's workshop who donated additional 200 EUR, the remarkable total of 1.330 EUR could be given. The money was handed by Wolfgang Kaiser in the evening ceremonially to the mountain rescue Kössen who were very pleased and thanked Wolfgang very much.

The first prize of the raffle - a copy of the brand-new paraglider reversible harness Energy Cross - went to the Hungarian pilot Istvan. A kind of "summer fairy tale" since he already before was saving money to buy it.
