Thanks to the adapt ultra light construction of canopy, lines and risers the OXYGEN size M weights only 4.2 kg, size S even only 3.95 kg. It belongs therefore to the lightest mountain gliders available on the market.

Specials of the light material

The sail material of these gliders has been worked the same way as on all other ICARO gliders but the material itself is much thinner.

Light gliders are subject to the same test criteria (load test, manoeuvres) as all other gliders. If these criteria are not met the glider will not get a seal of quality (LTF- certification).

Since the sail is thinner than others the packing volume reduces at the same time. There is no need to crunch the glider into the packsack.

With 8 kg only for paragliding

In combination with the light energy light-harness of ICARO paragliders (3.4 kg) and the appropriate small backpack of ICARO paragliders the whole package of wing & harness weights only 8 kg! With the measurment of a normal, bigger travelling backpack. This makes carrying the paraglider backpack doing good like a backrub. Oh well, almost in any case.
