Vol libre confirms the outstanding gliding performance of the maverick compared with the competition

We are extremely happy: the French paragliding magazine “Vol libre” has now officially confirmed the outstanding gliding performance of the MAVERICK. In an independent benchmark test the MAVERICK beats its competition: Advance Sigma 7, Nova Factor 21, Mac Para Envy.

The MAVERICK has the higher glide ratio and it receives the higher markings in the test even if only just. :

• Extremely good starting characteristics
• High stability
• Good absorption of turbulences
• Manageable extreme flight characteristics when doing provoked collapses
• Very good flight comfort
  

However there are a few points they criticise::

• weak pulleys at the brakes
• entry in turn
• weight of the canopy
• slightly high steering forces.
